Engineuity has extended its technology for the production of hydrocarbon or alcohol fuels from captured CO2.
CO2 is captured from air, or from other natural sources like natural gas wells, landfills, or fermentation systems. Using this technology it is possible to obtain fuel that is completely independent of fossil sources, or to multiply by several folds the fuel obtained from fermentation of corn, wheat or cane sugar.
In the race for developing clean fuel, this option presents an option of non-fossil fuels, which, do not require modification of engines and minimizes the competition with food production.
